For the last 24 minutes, the sheer genius of the song “Born This Way”, which promotes self expression and self love, has had me dancing in my living room.

Lady Gaga is an artist to be reckoned with and, in my considered opinion, her best song thus far.  As odd as Lady Gaga is perceived by some of the public, her lyrics express the untold truths of many minorities.  She understands a larger population than most of the CEO’s in the world.

This song is not representative to anything that Madonna ever wrote.  In Madonna’s Express Yourself, the lyrics encourage women to communicate openly with your better half and avoid being walked over in the relationship because of his inability to express himself.  Lady Gaga’s Born this Way is the New Age philosophy of loving yourself, loving what you are, and embracing your minority.  There is no comparison what so ever.  My perception of Born This Way is an intimate biography of Lady Gaga’s struggle with self love on the journey to success.  She made it, so can you!  Be Brave.

“I’m on the right track baby
I was born to be brave”

What do most people yearn to hear?  You’re perfect just the way you are.  Born this Way hit it out of the ball park.

GO GO GAGA!!!
BORN THIS WAY
Don’t be a drag, just be a queen
Whether you’re broke or evergreen
You’re black, white, beige, chola descent
You’re lebanese, you’re orient
Whether life’s disabilities
Left you outcast, bullied, or teased
Rejoice and love yourself today
‘Cause baby you were born this way
No matter gay, straight, or bi,
Lesbian, transgendered life
I’m on the right track baby
I was born to survive
No matter black, white or beige
Chola or orient made
I’m on the right track baby
I was born to be brave
