BREAKING NEWS: Life’s a Blog has just been informed that crazy couple Katy Perry and Russell Brand have called it quits.
Citing irreconcilable differences, Russell Brand filed for divorce from Perry in Los Angeles on Friday.
“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage,” he said in a statement to PEOPLE. “I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”
The couple met in 2009 and had a whirlwind romance until they married in 2010 in India. I guess the good fortune of having elephants in attendance didn’t assist in this couple’s happily ever after.
