The countdown is on to Canada’s most exciting night in music. Who will take home the most anticipated awards and, more importantly, the recognition from Canada? Bing looked back at Canadians’ top searched nominees since they were announced to make some predictions.
It is no surprise that Justin Bieber and Drake are battling it out for the top awards. They once shared the stage in 2010, but now they go head-to-head for the JUNO Fan Choice Award and Album of the Year. Bing search results show Canadians aren’t leaving either of them behind choosing Bieber to take home the JUNO Fan Choice Award and Drake Album of the Year. Close behind in the Fan Choice category, Canadian crooner Michael Buble and rock band Nickelback fall short in popularity but lead the way with the highest number of Juno nominations.
Both Buble’s and Bieber’s Christmas albums rank high for Album of the Year and Gaga’s Born This Way looks like a shoe-in for International Artist award, leaving Adele and her rubbish relationship to second place despite her Grammy wins.
