I’ve been on one cruise in my lifetime. Good food, good times, and serene moments looking out at the ocean (probably with a massive hangover). However, this is one cruise I simply can’t imagine participating in.

I’m not a horror movie lover.  In fact, when alone, the visual of Michael Myers from Halloween is always in my head.  He’s either in the patio door, in my closet, when I open the garage door….ya know, I’m a chicken shit at heart.  I couldn’t even look at a SCREAM mask at Wal-Mart without getting scared.

It has been announced that Carnival Cruise Lines is launching a new SAW horror film theme cruise.  EEK!

You can go on a luxury 5-night cruise featuring the look, feel, actors, and plot twists from the twisted, gory SAW films. It’s called the ‘SAW at Sea’ cruise.

In a nutshell, or so I’m told, the movie’s plot is repetitive in all 7 films.  Two people wake up and they are locked up in a horrific traps.  They are then faced with torturous tasks which has been created by a serial killer.

So what will the cruise be like you ask?

According to the PDF online ” Let’s play a game…onboard the beautiful and luxurious Carnival Glory! If you’re a Fan of the “SAW” movies, you don’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to cruise with your favorite “SAW” Celebrities. This amazing (5) night cruise departs from New York City and travels to the most beautiful points in Canada (the last six “SAW” movies were filmed in Canada).

Your onboard meals are included. Each cabin will also receive a $50 Carnival Credit. During this amazing cruise, you will be able to party with the “SAW” Stars and meet other fans who love “SAW” just like you! You will attend fantastic pool and dance parties, question and answer Sessions and many special events. You can also get autographs from the “SAW” stars, take FREE individual photos with the “SAW” stars, attend FREE movie screenings, and much, much more”

Sounds innocent enough!  However, there’s sure to be some antics on board and if I would encounter that little strange man on a tri-cycle I’d be inclined to jump ship and take my chances in the Atlantic Ocean.

Would you take part in a SAW Cruise and take your chances when you know that there are two “fun” days at sea?

Count me out.
