Yes, the Boots and Hearts Country Music Festival was the place I discovered that I had a little country in me after all! This fun-filled event is set to go for 2013 and we’re going to be packed up and ready to roll once again!
I hope that my blogger friends, party friends, and even non-party friends will be there as well. I would LOVE to see Lionel Richie perform again as he was my fave.

Boots and Hearts organizers, Republic Live 2013 Inc., are pleased to announce that country music’s hottest festival will be returning August 1 – 4th 2013 at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario. More than 65,000 people attended the three-day festival last summer and organizers expect the 2013 event to draw an even larger crowd. Exit polls had festival-goers weigh in on their thoughts about how the event could become even stronger in 2013 and Republic Live 2013 Inc. have already taken action promising free tent camping with purchase of full event ticket, more showers, additional bathrooms and larger campsites. Fans also voted for the artists they would most like to see at Boots & Hearts 2013 with the top ten acts being Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Rascal Flatts, Zac Brown Band, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, and The Band Perry. Festival organizers are striving to secure the most desirable mix of artists possible in response to fan requests.
“We weren’t joking when we said we wanted your help to make Boots and Hearts the best country festival out there, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to make that happen,” said Shannon McNevan, Managing Director, Partner, Republic Live 2013 Inc. “Thankfully we received a boatload of input from our attendees this past summer and our audience has really helped drive the improvements to our 2013 event. As a result, we’ve incorporated free parking and tent camping for anyone who purchases a full-event General Admission ticket, free access for children 12 and under and more toilets, showers, and on-site experiences for people to enjoy, and we’re just getting started.”
The festival dates have also been moved to coincide with the bank holiday weekend in August 2013, something else fans suggested for future events. Some of the 2012 favorites will return with the Main Stage, Family Zone, BOOMTOWN Entertainment, the Front Porch Stage, with more market stalls and food vending options. The event promises to continue to be a family friendly one and the age limit for free passes for children was increased to 12 years old from 10 years of age in 2012.
