After a turbulent life of drugs, addictions, and many suitors, Drew Barrymore is finally a mom. The actress and her husband, Will Kopelman welcomes their first child on Wednesday.
“We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born Sept. 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family,” the couple tell PEOPLE in a statement.
“Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives.”
I’ve always had a soft spot for Drew Barrymore and rooted for her ultimate happiness. I grew up watching her trials and tribulations of being a child celebrity, her weight gain, and her many suitors.
Drew has kept a low profile since her relationship with Kopelman flourished and rumours of pregnancy were confirmed.
