The Oscar’s Red Carpet is all about fashion and jewelry. For the 2013 Oscars, my selection for best dressed is Jennifer Lawrence. The Dior gown was classy for an Oscar winning evening, it also suited her age well. She’s a playful girl of sorts and so was the dress. Naomi Watts looked absolutely stunning in her asymmetrical sequined gown made by Armani. I would say it’s a tie between these two ladies.
The 2013 Oscars went down in history (for myself anyway) for amazing fashion. From Jennifer L to Jennifer A, the majority selected amazingly classic gowns that suited their body well.
As far as worst dressed goes, I gladly give the award to Heidi Klum. I think Heidi knows how to dress herself well and this is why her dress caught me off guard. Too much boob for the Oscars but a perfect fit for the Grammy Awards. Her hair, which is generally wind-swept and beautiful looked rushed and unkept. It’s too bad because I generally love whatever she wears.
The red carpet is always fun to watch and I for one loved seeing all of the fabulous new looks and trends. This year was such a great year for fashion along with the great movies that were nominated.
