Hollywood Darlings Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio Win Esteemed Gracie Award For Their “Let Your Light Shine” Anti-Bullying Music Video

Gracie Award for “Outstanding Viral Video” Highlights Growing List of Honors Received

Twins - Single Cover ArtWhen seven year-old darlings, Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio began filming the music video for their debut single, “Let Your Light Shine” last fall, their mission was simple: spread a message of acceptance and increase awareness about the alarming bullying epidemic impacting communities worldwide. Officially released in conjunction with Global Bullying Prevention Day (12/12/12), the “Let Your Light Shine” music “went viral” accumulating 1 million YouTube views in less than 72 hours! To date, nearly 1.5 million views have been logged for the video. Widely recognized as the “new Olsen twins,” Bianca and Chiara serve as heroic guides for schoolmates who are victims of bullying — our shared world is changed for the better once we all let our lights shine. A portion of all proceeds benefit the Seth Walsh Foundation (http://www.sethwalsh.org).

In a year with a record-setting number of submissions, The Board of Directors and Trustees of the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation selected the “Let Your Light Shine” music video to be honored as Outstanding Viral Video. “Let Your Light Shine” was selected because it “displayed superior quality in writing, production and programming.” Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio will accept their Gracie statue at the Gracie Awards Luncheon being held in NYC.

“Let Your Light Shine” is a 2013 Official Selection at a growing number of film festivals, including: St. Albans Film Festival, Palm Beach International Film Festival, New Hope Film Festival, Bare Bones International Film & Music Festival, Free Style Life Film Exhibition, Garden State Film Festival, New Media Film Festival, and River Bend International Film Festival. About Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio:

Hailing from Santa Monica, CA, seven year-old twins Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio made their television debuts as “Summer Newman” on  The Young and the Restless (CBS) and have since guest starred on Parks and Recreation, The Closer, Legit, and Guys With Kids, among other hit shows. They have been featured in a variety of memorable commercials, as well as the music videos for Bon Jovi’s “What Do You Want” and American Idol alum Crystal Bowersox’s 2010 hit single, “Farmer’s Daughter.” They make their feature film debut in Feeding Mr. Baldwin releasing later this year.
