I am officially a sucker for summer music festivals. Music festivals bring out the best in people where they come to sing and dance with their favorite artists. Held on June 22nd, The Big Music Fest, in Belleville Ontario, is a one-day music extravaganza featuring Hedley, The Counting Crows, The Wallflowers, Bleeker Ridge and the legendary Burton Cummings, formerly from the Guess Who.
Life’s a Blog will be attending this event and the best part is the you will be receiving both an adult and teen perspective. Aside from Beat Rocks The Block, this will be Christina and Jordan’s first music festival experience. They are both pumped!
Who do you want to see?
It’s strange how music can take you back in time and memories come pouring back like you’re living it all over again. Close your eyes and you’re back in time through the sound of the music.
I am a huge fan of Hedley but I have to say that since we have seen them a few times this year, I’m totally pumped to see the Wallflowers and the Counting Crows at the Big Music Fest.
The Counting Crows takes me back to a time before my kids, when I was a young girl with a lot of dreams and a wedding date in sight. It was a year of excitement, sadness, and lots of love.
