Get your camera phones ready for action folks as the celebrities will start arriving for The Toronto International Film Festival next week. The Toronto International Film Festival has an incredible lineup of films during its 10-day festivities which includes droves of celebrity A-listers including, Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, Hugh Jackman, Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth, Jessica Chastain and Michael Fassbender.
Now as a regular at TIFF, I have to warn you. Unlike 2008 and 2009, spotting a celebrity at TIFF is like looking for a needle in a haystack these days. My recommendation? The Ritz Carleton Hotel, the SOHO Hotel, and TIFF Central (which is the Lightbox on King and John) is your best bet. You may also catch a glimpse of a celebrity shopping on Bloor Street or Yorkville as well.
We will not be attending the film festival as aggressively as other years but I still hope to get downtown Toronto for a day or two to see if these unconfirmed guests will make an appearance.
