The Little Mermaid Movie and Features Review

Wow! What can I say! Everyone loves little Ariel! This new state-of-the-art digitally restored picture and high definition sound made this exceptionally movie worth the watch. The scenes were vibrant with color and the music outstanding. Flounder and Sebastian seemed more alive with these new features. Even when they were in trouble with Ariel.

The 3 hours of bonus features was very interesting to watch. The music video by Carly Rae Jepsen who sang “Part of Your World'” was a bonus feature. Having a tour of the Disney Animation studios and to see how animated movies become “real” was an eye opener for me. From the early years of animation to the new computer animation, we have come a long way.

To watch how this was all done was an amazing feat. To meet the “voice” of Ariel was another thrill. The new rides which will be part of the Disney World coming in 2014 will surely be exciting to any Disney fan. I also enjoy the new bonus “Crab-E-Oke” sing along. It was fun. Especially for children. Overall, I enjoyed the movie and the bonus features. I can hardly wait for my grand daughters to watch it with me.

Bonus Features: All-New Music Video; @ Disney Animation; Disney Intermission; Deleted Character; The Real Little Mermaid: Live Action Reference Model; Part of Her World: Jodi Benson’s Voyage To New Fantasyland; Howard’s Lecture; Classic DVD Bonus Features
