Last week, I visited the Beauty Supply Outlet at 170 University Ave W. 27-28 Waterloo, ON. My first impression of the store is that it was clean and the staff welcoming and ready to help. I saw several familiar brands that are used at my local hair salon such as MoraccanOil, Matrix, Redken, and CHI to name a few. There were many other products from skin care to nail polishes and applications by OPI and other brands.
The RED HOT DEALS were truly HOT! There was a table at the front offering discount prices on a variety of hair and beauty products where I picked up a sample size of dry shampoo made by SexyHair for $3.00. I love this product as it has given me that extra day without a hair wash. I also contemplated buying a brush curling iron or a CHI straightener that were discounted to a phenomenal price. I opted out questioning whether I’d ever use either on my shorter hairstyle.
The person on staff was personable and very helpful when I asked her about best selling products, why they do not have hair extensions (a huge fad these days), and she also helped me select a hair treatment product by MoroccanOil, priced at $49.99.
The most amazing thing she explained to me is the complexity of selecting the right hair colour solutions to achieve the hair samples in the book. I quickly decided that there was no way I was taking this on and will leave it up to my stylist to give me the best colour for my features.
