With the amount of celebrity divorces, middle age celebrity deaths, and child actor alcohol and drug abusers, I’m really beginning to wonder what is celebrity news anymore?
The demise Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes relationship came as no surprise to anyone. However, the compassion they showed to their child by not bringing out the daggers and settling for a quickie divorce certainly was a newsworthy topic!
People Magazine did an analysis of the fall of Vera Wang’s 23-year marriage and questioned whether her 2012 Fall Collection of mainly black wedding dresses was a sign? Possibly, but I think it’s simply just two people who have grown apart. When you have nothing to say to the person laying next to you….is it worth staying together?
Sorry to hear about yet another celebrity couple but I’m certain there will be three more next week. In a world where the word “I” is becoming more dominant than ever, “Us” will soon be a thing of the past. Or is it that we’re just too damn busy to worry about another anymore?
