Anderson Cooper’s Daytime Show Cancelled

Anderson-Cooper-LiveAfter Oprah, I thought Anderson Cooper’s daytime show, ‘Anderson Live’. was a great replacement for afternoon talk-show television.  Unfortunately, Warner Bros. didn’t think so.

Warner Bros. said Monday that the marketplace made it increasingly difficult for “Anderson Live” to “break through” to viewers despite format changes.

The show struggled to match the ratings performance of daytime front runners including “Ellen” and “Live! With Kelly and Michael.”  Copper said he was grateful for the opportunity and was very proud of his staff.

Anderson Cooper can still be viewed nightly on ‘Anderson Cooper 360’ on CNN.  Anderson Live will continue through to Summer 2013.

I don’t think we can compare the genre of show that Cooper represents to Ellen or Kelly.  Everyone knows that I LOVE Ellen, but for a little sense and sensibility Anderson was my man.

What Daytime Talk Show do you watch?  Are you disappointed in Warner Bros. pulling the plug on ‘Anderson Live’
