I think many things will change or become obsolete due to higher oil prices. I think the Myan Calendar will not be the end of the world, but it will be the end of something where human nature will suffer the loss, but will accomodate to the changes. Electricity or Oil being the primary cause.

Furthermore, I think the Honey Bee is on it’s way out. Honey provides so many positive attributes to human beings. It will be a sad day when we discover that the Honey Bee is no more.

I think the idea of having a home phone may be obsolete. Cell phone usage is increasing across the universe. We seen the demise of the rotary phone, the corded phone, and soon the cordless phone will be taken over by cell phone usage and Skype.
