Day 2: Quitting Smoking is a Verb

Ok well, there are somethings that people want to share while there are others that people don’t.  I want to share that Day 2 was a little piece of hell on earth.

I made it through the Day without one cigarette!  I am very proud of myself.  However, even though yesterday I had 2 cigarettes, I’m still very proud of that effort too.  Better two smokes than twenty-five, even though some people don’t necessarily see it as quitting.

Quitting smoking is a daily chore.  Don’t listen to anyone on how to do it.  Just do it and don’t kick yourself in the a** if you fail.  This is your journey and we must do it our own way.

Reprimanding ourselves for a slip only encourages us to fall into the same bad habits.  Do what feels best for you!
