Today has been a day of reflection. Reflection on what I should have done vs. what I need to do. I’ve been training at World’s Gym in Cambridge for a little over a month now. I’m feeling better, but my darn knee is still playing tricks on me. I know what to do….step it up a notch. Do my stretches to relieve my bursitus which will release some of the pressure from the knee.
I looked at my trainer this morning and simply said, “Help me! I have never turned my back on a challenge yet and I’m not giving up now.” I have invested $2,500 to get my strength and mobility back and I’m going to make it happen.
I will be biking 25 kilometres in the Ride for Heart in Toronto. I don’t care if I must stop every five minutes, I will not throw in the towel. I meant what I said in November and I’m keeping on, keeping on.
I have committed to raising $1,000 as a VIP Rider. I am asking you today to please support my training, my life, and my plight to help other’s who have serious heart conditions.
To donate, please visit my webpage on the Ride for Heart Site. I can’t tell you how thankful I am for your support!
