God I like having good friends that can book you in for a complete hair style days before you head out to an event. The folks at Shangri-La Hair Studio and Spa are so good to me. I am heading to the Much Music Video Awards and who knows who I’ll meet in my travels. Even a chubby Pop Culture Blogger always has to look her best and it’s go time baby!
Check out the amazing hair cut, colour, highlights and style that local celebrity hairstylist Frank Anthony gave me. Not only that, while looking hideous in my foils and dye in walks in Taylor Doherty of the San Jose Sharks! We managed to do a lot of laughing and chatting when he got his hair cut, paid, and zoomed away in his Porsche………swoon. I did manage to get in a “How you doin?” look as I caught a glimpse of this 6’7 cutie!
I’m getting rather good at taking pictures on the sly. Yes, I literally walked around the salon in my purple hair dye and foils.
Alas, I’m finished and I think my hair looks pink carpet ready for One Night in Toronto with Perez Hilton. I still have to finalize the clothes and shoes tomorrow.
I am over the top excited for the MMVAs and the weekend ahead!
Christina and her friend Sammy are over the moon excited and have all of their clothes carefully selected. Toby and Brandon have their sites on the Ontario Science Center and the CN Tower. If I can find a sitter for my dog, our weekend will be fool proof.
