Life Story Project Oprah Canada
My sister-in-law from Gaspe, Quebec attends Life Story Project and sits on the purple couch.

The Canadian Oprah Winfrey Network, OWN Canada, premieres Life Story Project on January 2, 2013.  Life Story Project will have you laughing, crying, and wanting to share your opinions on  various topics that hosts Dale Curd and  Andrea Syrtash bring to the purple couch.

This month, OWN Canada invited Life’s a Blog to their studios on Corus Quay for a sneak peek of the new television series, Life Story Project.

Many of the Canadian OWN Ambassadors were in attendance for the viewing.  The show reflects around the hosts selecting random strangers on the street to discuss life’s most important issues on the purple couch.

While the show isn’t created to counsel the participants, the show emulates the fact that so many people in this world have unhealed wounds to mend,  dreams to fulfill, and courage to move forward.  There were many tears to be had while watching the two episodes back to back.

We all agreed that this show represents Oprah Winfrey and her mission to provide quality educational entertainment to her viewers.

After a Q&A session with host, Dale Curd, we were sent on our way with T-shirts and cupcakes.  Overall, this was a great event that was hosted by the Corus Entertainment Group and Touchwood PR.

The 10-episode, half-hour series will première with back-to-back episodes starting at 9 p.m. on January 2 on the OWN Canada Network.
