Born this Way Album Review

As depicted on her new album cover of Born This Way, Lady Gaga is the vehicle to her success.

After a superb night of friends, bonfires, and lots of drinks this May 2-4 weekend, I anxiously awaited the album release of “Born This Way” at midnight on May 23, 2011.

Being Gaga’s biggest fan (in my opinion because I’ve never spent $350.00 on anyone else before), her newest album is a montage of 80’s style beats and covered in self love affirmations.

I have to admit that my favorite song is Born this Way, but I’m quite compelled to listen to Marry the Night and You and I over and over again.

I love the fact that Forbes magazine has proclaimed Lady Gaga as most powerful celebrity for 2011.  I love the fact that on the cusp of Oprah’s departure, we have a freaky blond headed realistic artist replacing her and influencing our younger generation that it’s OK to be just the way they are.

I think we’ll see a transformation in Gaga due to this new revelation.   Hopefully, it’s all the way up the ladder and always for the better.  I can’t picture fame taking over her ability to remain grounded and real to her fans.

I so hope that I score wristbands or that I’m fortunate enough to blog for the Much Music Video awards so I can see this wonderful artist again!
