Day 2 of a Life Transition

Yesterday, I did my first workout at Goodlife since 2010.  Yep, I’m one of those girls who kept their membership running and never went.  (Lazy arse eh?)

Anyway, last week, I downgraded my membership and signed up my daughter, whose put on a few pounds since this whole bullying incident.  Well all I have to say is that it felt great.

At first I thought I required a trainer to get my fat ass in gear, but after hearing the words “Five Thousand Dollars”, I decided to take the “Get off the couch, you lazy B#$#@ and do it yourself.”

I’m trying to pick a goal a day.  First and foremost, my day is always started off with no less than 4 coffees.  That’s gotta go.

I smoke and in order to work out successfully, that’s gotta go.  I have a very addictive personality where smoking and food have become my comfort zones.

I also need to create a meal plan.  I’ve got at least ninety pounds to lose, so I need to set myself up for success.  I do not want to do the Eat Clean Diet as before.  Why?  Well it’s just too complicated and expensive.  There are a few recipes that I have created that has become a daily part of my life.  However, most of the recipes are filled with odd spices and things I can’t find at the grocery store.  I want it to be a life transition rather than a diet.

I think I’ll take the Dr. Oz approach and clear out the cupboards and fridge and eliminate all sugars, fats, and salt.

I will continue with Tosca Reno’s workout regiment and diary.  I admire her abliity to keep on course and her suggested routines.

Any suggestions from my reader’s would be greatly appreciated.  As well, a good cheerleader would be nice too.

Well here’s to Monday!  I’ve finally found the job of my dreams (again), so all that’s left to worry about is my health.  I want to live a long life and what I’m doing now, I’ll be lucky to make it to 50.

Have a great day!
