Wow! What a great book with a twist at the end.I always enjoy his books and this one is no exception.

I recommend this book wholeheartedly to anyone who loves a love story, a dash of mystery and a bit of fighting and tragedy thrown in for good measure.

This a love story of two high school sweethearts from opposite sides of the tracks  whose lives go separate ways.  Years later when their mutual friend and adviser passes away, they are called together for the reading of the will and discover that both of their lives have never brought them the fulfillment that they both wanted.

He has a violent family who is full of hate and destruction and is out to destroy him.

She is having difficulties with her marriage and he has never married. Does the love that they once felt for each other still exist?

This is a story which I didn’t want to put down. Very well written because at times I felt the emotions so strongly and wanted to cry, yell and scream at the same time. The end was bittersweet that left you sad and happy at the same time.  I hope you will enjoy it like I did!
