Daniel Day-Lewis, Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, Christoph WaltzOscars 2013 was, once again, an evening filled with glitz, glamour, and celebration of the best in Hollywood.  Ben Affleck, who was snubbed for a Best Director nomination, took home Best Picture for Argo.  Affleck concluded his acceptance speech with a few words of wisdom. “It doesn’t matter how you get knocked down in life, all that matters is how you get back up.”

As expected, Daniel Day Lewis and Jennifer Lawrence took home the top individual awards of Best Actor and Actress.
