Day 1 of the Go Further with Ford Trend Conference kicked off with the Ford Motor Corp welcoming crew in the hospitality suite at the Hyatt Hotel in Dearborn, followed by a fun filled event at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
Executive Chairman Bill Ford spoke about the North American consumer, green, technology and digital media. Ford was joined by David Kirkpatick, author of The Facebook Effect, who interviewed him on a range of topics including the future of mobility, sustainability and rebuilding Ford.
Ford’s hospitality to over 200 journalists, bloggers and auto enthusiasts was beyond comprehension. A full course meal, a tour of Ford Stadium, and the opportunity to kick a field goal on an NFL field was just the tip of the iceberg during this 3-day conference.
Ford’s ability to speak to the typical car owner and his passion for sustainability demonstrates that Ford is on the right track in becoming the North American Automotive Leader.
