Well it’s been a long time since I focused on my blog. I think a mini vacation does a person good. How the hell are ya? What have you been doing?
Well my blogcation wasn’t due to the fact that I needed a break. There has been a whirlwind of events taking place in my home and I’d love to share some of them with you. Sure, I could get up and speak about how great of a mother I am or how easy child rearing is if you do it your way, but the truth is, nothing is easy. NOTHING. Teenagers has to be the hardest period of a mother’s life. Between the tears and laughter, mothering a teen requires so much guidance, support, and unconditional love.
I am feeling a bit neurotic today and it is in these moments of turmoil where lessons are learned and when I tend to generate the best blog posts.
This blog post is like a choose your own adventure novel of the 80’s. Absolutely everyone has drug me into their lives, so now it is time to share the lessons learned. Within it all, I’ve still found myself. The independent woman and mother that I am. The journey is not over, but it’s so nice to end this blog note on a positive note for now.
