Ten Songs Not to Miss at Roxodus Music Festival

Fifteen days and myself and my crew (Sharon, Julie, and Mike) are headed to Roxodus Music Festival at the Edenvale Airport in Ontario. As we were sitting having a beer and making plans, we reviewed the lineup. Mike knew every band that will be playing, while it took a moment of nostalgia for Julie and I to say “OMG, yes!”. From Lee Aaron to Aerosmith, it’s going to be a blast.

Here’s a few tunes that I don’t want to miss that brings a hint of nostalgia from my teen years! Which band are you looking forward to seeing?

Whatcha Do To My Body – Lee Aaron

Reminds me of “he that shall not be named”. He loved her for years.

Scratching the Surface – Saga

Story of my current life. I’m scratching the surface for sure.

A Night to Remember – Prism

Reminds of elementary school. I don’t think I was old enough for dances though.

Mony Mony- Billy Idol

Who remembers yelling those words in between the lyrics? 80’s ritual!

Maria – Blondie

My favourite Karaoke song when I had a voice. Can’t wait to see her!

According to You – Orianthi

Reminds me of ‘he who should not be named’ because he makes me feel like the beginning of the song. Just waiting for him.

No More Mr. Nice Guy – Alice Cooper

Yep, heading to the lawyer this week.

Devil’s on Fire – Headstones

Oh yes, he’s burning heavy now. Can’t WAIT!!!

All Summer Long – Kid Rock

Eye roll. Hated this song, but it’s all about nostalgia right? One of my best Summers with Sharon!

Don’t Want to Miss a Thing – Aerosmith

I don’t want to miss a thing. Life’s short, make it sweet! I’ve put in a special request to Steven Tyler. Hope I get it.
