Not hard on the eyes at all in person!

Republic Live, organizers of the Boots and Hearts country Music Festival announced today that early bird tickets for country music’s hottest event will not be on sale as originally planned tomorrow at 9 am EST due to the final pieces not being in place with their new merchant account provider.   The company recently made the transition to a Canadian merchant account with a major Canadian bank based on feedback from fans so that not only can they provide the highest standards of customer service but also conduct all transactions in Canadian funds, providing more convenience and cost-savings for fans.  All other elements are in place to begin ticket sales, however until the merchant account is up and running there is no way for event organizers to process debit and visa card payments.  Republic Live hopes to have an on-sale date to announce for tickets in the coming days and will keep all fans updated at their website www.bootsandhearts.com as well as through social media with daily updates.

“We are fully prepared to go as soon as we get the green light,” said Shannon McNevan, Managing Director, Partner, Republic Live.  “It was our hope that all necessary pieces would be in place to release our early bird tickets for November 9th, 2012 as planned, but regrettably we have to postpone this release date.  We are so excited to push play on Boots & Hearts and this delay is so that we can ensure that you have the best experience possible,  from the moment you buy your tickets, until you leave the event on Sunday, August 4th after an amazing weekend of seeing Jason Aldean at his only Ontario gig for 2013, as well as 39+ other top international acts perform.  We will be providing updates daily as we are just as excited as you are to put these tickets on sale as soon as possible.  Thanks for being patient with us as we want to make sure that we kick this off right because we are going to be consistent with this for the next nine months.”

Early bird ticket prices for three-day general admission remain at $169.99 and will be available in the coming days for purchase exclusively at www.bootsandhearts.com  A new ticketing agency and a Canadian merchant account are among the improvements republic Live are making to Boots and Hearts for 2013.  General admission campsites can still be shared by up to 8 people, but will be larger, cost only $74.99, a significant cost savings and improvements, especially if you share it with a group of 7 others, making the cost $9.37 per person for the entire weekend.  Early bird tickets for the event are being offered at a special rate of $169.99, that’s $30 less than last year’s price point of $199.99 for early bird tickets. Organizers have also increased the age of free admission to 12 years old from 10 years old last year and are also committed to delivering more showers and bathroom facilities that are more frequently maintained
and monitored. The camping system is also being reviewed with plans for improvement and the 2013 event will see some lay out changes to improve site access as well as on-site experiences.
