Biggest news to come out of the Media Day yesterday was…….. Cole Pearn will make his return for one race only to Crew Chief for Martin Truex Jr at the Daytona 500! Martin Truex Jr. who has announce his retirement from full time racing in the NASCAR Cup series at the end of this season, will return for a one race deal for the Daytona 500 in 2025. He announced yesterday that Cole Pearn will return for this race. Cole and Martin won the NASCAR Championship together before Cole retired and moved to Western Canada with his family to run a ski resort. Joe Gibbs and Denny Hamlin has offered Truex a car to run so further details are to come.
