American Idol contestant, Brittany Kerr and Jason Aldean have been in a little bit of hot water lately for their inappropriate behaviour while drinking together last Wednesday night at The Den in West Hollywood.
Country Crooner Aldean, 35, who is married with two children, was the first to issue an apology to his wife and family for his drunken actions that fateful night.
He addressed his fans via Twitter saying, “Hey Guys – I wanted to talk to you directly, so you were hearing the truth from me and not just reading allegations about my personal life on gossip web sites. The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that’s the end of the story. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself,” he wrote.
“I’m not perfect, and I’m sorry for disappointing you guys,” he continued. “I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support.”
Kerr followed suit by providing this statement a day later. “The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part,” reports TMZ.com. “I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends & family.”
What do you think of the cheaters, cheaters, pumpkin eaters? Myself? For Aldean, there are two sides to every story and I smell more marital issues far greater than a drunken indiscretion. It doesn’t make it right, but there is more to the story.
For Kerr, I have no comment because I have no idea whether you knew if he was married or not. You’re single and you have no one to protect but yourself.
