Yes, the power of Twitter is amazing when you have a huge celebrity like Katy Perry providing an exclusive preview of her new documentary ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ to her Twitter Fans.

Besides a RT from Perez Hilton and a Thank You from Jann Arden, my success rate of engaging in conversation with celebrities on Twitter isn’t high.  Then again, I don’t put myself out there as Katy’s fan girl even though I’m completely enamored by her.

Paramount and Twitter have designated a special hashtag that will direct fans to a direct link allowing them to buy tickets for the advance showings.  Will you be watching for it?

“From Katy’s first Tweet announcing the movie, her fans have been incredibly passionate and supportive and we want to make sure they are among the first to see the film they helped shape,” Insurge Pictures president Amy Powell said.
